Statement from the choreographer:

“If you were to tell eighteen-year-old Madison that she would be choreographing a dance based on how much she loved being in college, she’d probably burst into flames. Well, just goes to show that a lot can change in four years.

This dance is a love letter to the [UMD] theatre department, and all of the friends I’ve made throughout my time in it. Had it not been for these crazy people, I don’t think I’d be the person I am today. I’m so grateful that I get the chance to give something back to them. They’ve become my family, and this theater has become my home (asbestos and all).

So to you: the people who came before me, the people who will come after me, those I know like the back of my hand, and those I’ve never met…you know that I could use somebody like you.”
