I currently attend the University of Minnesota Duluth, where I am seeking a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Production, emphasizing my studies in Stage Management. I expect to graduate in December of 2025.
Outside of the workplace I enjoy creating art in all mediums, heading outside, spending time with friends and family, and at the end of the night getting to eat a mega bowl of chocolate ice cream paired with a big glob of peanut butter.
My previous experience primarily resides in Stage Management, with recent credits including CABARET (upcoming, UMN Duluth), CINDERELLA (Duluth Playhouse), DRAGONS LOVE TACOS (UMN Duluth), THE SPITFIRE GRILL (UMN Duluth).
As a Stage Manager, I aim to find connection. I have found that in every production I have worked on, there is a smoother process when I am able to connect with the work, with colleagues, and with myself. I wish to collaborate with other artists in order to produce live art, but I also wish for that collaboration to have meaning. I will never sacrifice my core values and goals for the sake of the work, because I believe that these are what make me an approachable, empathetic, and intuitive Stage Manager and theatre-maker.
For the summer 2025 Season, I will be returning to The Glimmerglass Festival as Safety Staff. This will be my second season with the company, having started in 2024 as an Apprentice. My work with the organization explores the research, creation, and implementation of safety policy and protocol for the entire organization. In 2024, I was responsible for creating risk assessments for two of the company’s four mainstage operas as well as their youth opera. I also coordinated the company’s hazardous waste material disposal.
